An approximate date for this cutting would be shortly after
Thursday 25th October 1984, when episode (500) was shown in Melbourne.
As the article states, it would not be shown in Sydney until Thursday 13th December 1984.
Steve West thinks this comes from the Daily Mirror, which used to be published in Sydney.
It certainly reads like a Sydney area newspaper reporting on the Melbourne showing.
