Joan sarcastically thanks them for laying on a dance for her return: Myra tells her she won't find it as easy to get her own way, as they are all united against her, including Reb. Angela tells Bobbie and Marlene about her boyfriend tricking her into signing dole checks. Ann points out to Joan that Erica's signed statement calling for Joan's reinstatement is not the same as exoneration and that the attack on Reb is not the only complaint against her. Diedre drives Reb to the family holiday home. Dot isn't selected for the waltz team, but is asked to be coach to keep her quiet. Joan confronts Heather about her accusation: Heather won't be intimidated and goes further, hinting that Joan helped Marie to escape. Reb tells Diedre she has no intention of letting her get any of the money, and she didn't consider how they would be able to get to it without attracting the police's attention. Joan discovers Bobbie, Marlene and Angel having a feast on stolen goods from the kitchen. Heather confesses her love for Dennis and stays overnight at his house. Ann and Judy meet Mr Montgomery, the sponsor of the waltz marathon: Judy is worried that she is being given all the credit for the idea. Judy stops Joan picking on Angel and loses buyup for a month. Reb sees her escape has made front page news . Angel stirs it between Myra and Judy by telling Judy that Myra warned her to be careful that Judy doesn't seduce her. Dennis tries to tell Joan his opinion of her wasn't the reason he didn't support the strike. The women try on the track suits donated by the sponsor. Dot questions Angel's account of the fire that killed her parents. and unwittingly makes an enemy of her. Myra suggest the women use Joan's vulnerable state and accuse her of assault whenever they can. Shane is taken back to his father until the custody hearing. Angel starts to ask questions about the women and seems interested that Bobbie's parents never visit her. Judy snaps at Myra when she asks if she is all right. The Major tries to hint to Joan that she should give up her job and come to live with him. Judy tells Angel about her pacemaker and the danger from magnetic fields. An anonymous death threat arrives at Wentworth addressed to "the person in charge" promising retribution "A LOVED ONE IS LOST YOU ARE GOING TO PAY" . Judy moves away from Myra at dinner when she admits she's been filling Angel in on the "people to avoid". Dennis's dinner date with Heather is interrupted by the arrival of his wife Doris. Reb is arrested when Diedre calls them because she is worried Reb will die: Reb vows to kill Diedre.
