Randi and Marty will never be

Bea asks Phyllis if Joan is taking a cut from her racket: Phyllis nervously and unconvincingly denies it. Judy refuses to let Scott admit Hazel to hospital. Scott prescribes morphine for Hazel and warns Judy not to give her more than four doses in 24 hours. Bea catches Phyllis handing money over to Sonia and warns Sonia to make sure she gives it all back to the women it came from by next morning. Bea announces that the numbers game is over and no-one should buy any more, but Phyllis heavies Pixie and Lizzie into buying numbers later on. Randi is released. Replies to Pixie's ad arrive at Wentworth. Colleen and Meg accompany Lizzie on her day release: she demands to go the hairdresser first. [The shocking wallpaper ought to have been a warning in itself, so it isn't surprising it wasn't seen that this is a perfect Louise Brooks bob that needs no attention at all.] Fred harasses Rosemary so she walks out. Eddie asks Sonia again about Jerry Turner: she tells him the truth, and that their marriage is a cover for her other activities. Lizzie is disappointed with her hairdo and is outraged by the cost after her usual experience of having it done by "Madame Beatrice" for a "couple of fags". Pixie sorts through her replies, some of which are too explicit about what they want for Pixie's delicate tastes. Lizzie meets Mick at the airport: Colleen is introduced as her daughter and Meg as her secretary, but they quickly become annoyed at the lies they are forced to tell to cover the extravagant stories Lizzie put in her letters. When they all go to Irene's house, the butler Watson has to show Mick around the house. Bea catches Pixie hiding Lizzie's winnings under her pillow and goes to confront Sonia. The butler has to force Lizzie to put back a porcelain figurine after she finds out from Foxy what it's worth. Joan catches Bea punching Sonia, and puts her on a charge. Mick confesses to Meg and Colleen that he's broke, after her overhears them talking about Lizzie and finds out that she is not what he thought either. They all agree to keep Lizzie in the dark, and Foxy leaves while Lizzie is still asleep. Lizzie later admits that she'd noticed something was wrong when Foxy didn't offer to pay for a single thing all day, and that she pretended to be asleep when she felt he was working up to proposing marriage to her. Petra gets a life sentence at her trial . Hazel begs Judy to kill her by giving her an overdose.
