  • Lisa buys some contraband from the shop. Spider proposes to Alice that they try to discredit the shop in order to take over. Brumby tells Rita that Cynthia is on long term leave and Roo has no back-up. Spike takes Rita to talk to Bongo through a water pipe, but he is out of his head on drugs. Craven and Walters bet on the outcome of the fight. Lisa takes one of Joyce's photos. Spider and Alice break into the shop to steal goods, but Alice forbids Spider to sell them. Merle is painted by Sarah and makes a digeridoo. Alice leaves the goods in the women' cells. Rita beats Roo, despite Roo pulling a knife and a baseball bat on her. Craven orders Walters to break up the fight. Rita is put in the pit. Kath notices goods are missing from the shop, and takes the credit for giving them to the women, but tells Joan what has happened. Roo takes it out on Brumby, so she tells Roo that Bongo is Rita's brother. Roo passes the information on to Craven and tells Bongo to persuade Rita to lay off. Brumby arranges a meeting between Bongo and Rita. Merle persuades Pamela to tell the women a dreamtime story: she holds the women spellbound with a story of the origin of black swans, which is counterpointed with the women at Blackmoor breaking Rita out of solitary to start a riot. Rita lays Roo out and takes her hostage.
